About James Wright?
James is a retired military member who currently works in Healthcare. His love for model railroading was sparked by childhood memories, which were further ignited when his cousin Chris sent him a DCC locomotive and controller in 2009. From there, James embarked on a journey that would bring him immense joy and creative fulfillment.
Modeling primarily in HO scale, James's dedication to the hobby is truly inspiring. He channels his passion through his YouTube channel, where he shares a wealth of information about model railroading in various scales. He started his channel out of a desire to find and provide information about model train products through product reviews. Because no one was producing product reviews on YouTube at the time, he wanted to make that available to all modelers while enjoying the capture of his progression as a modeler.
One of James' core goals is to help and support others along their modeling journey. With a relaxed yet descriptive approach, he tries his best to respond to everyone's questions and provide guidance. Looking to the future of the hobby, James is excited about the potential for more innovative use of modern technology. As the world progresses, he hopes to see the integration of cutting-edge techniques that will enhance the model railroading experience for enthusiasts worldwide.
